Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise customers and their infrastructure needs.
  • Experience delivering products into a cloud market.
  • Experience in Product Management, Systems Architecture or Technology Strategy.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with developing and deploying large scale, policy driven, systems management products.
  • Experience working across multiple teams and delivering platform wide solutions.
  • Ability to lead a team of product managers by providing vision and direction.
  • Ability to excel in collaboration.

Google Compute Engine (GCE) is the IaaS layer of Google Cloud. GCE delivers customers virtual machines running in Google's innovative data centers and worldwide fiber network. Compute Engine's tooling and workflows enable scaling from single instances to global, load-balanced cloud computing.
You will satisfy Google Compute customers with the most innovative cloud management capabilities that allow them to operate and scale their businesses with Google Cloud. You will lead a dynamic area defining, developing, launching and landing products into a fast growth cloud market.

Responsibilities


  • Enable customer success by delivering a collection of well integrated services with Google Compute Engine.
  • Develop product requirements, work closely with engineering, prioritize and launch core functionality in Google Compute Engine.
  • Lead a team of product managers, and provide vision and directional guidance.
  • Partner with general managers and engineering executives across the organization to create product strategy and priorities related to core compute operations.
  • Define offerings that establish and grow market leadership in cloud management.
